• Our Adult, outpatient CTC is located and operated in Medford, our facility is one of 152 Comprehensive Treatment Centers in the US, the most advanced provider of medication-assisted treatment in the US;
• Seeking Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to complete initial evaluations on new patient intakes;
• Days/Hours: Mondays & Wednesdays from 7:00AM-12:00PM
• Compensation is very competitive and negotiable

Requirements:

• Successful completion of an accredited Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner education program

• Current Oregon NP/PA license, in good standing

Responsibilities

Summary:

• Makes a comprehensive physical assessment of patients consistent with training and education;
• Performs physical examinations on patients admitted for medication maintenance;
• Ensures physician medication orders are being followed. Refers patients to appropriate physicians and consults with the supervising physician;
• Evaluates patient care, adjusting the plan of care based on outcomes, diagnostic test results, and patient feedback;
• Provides patient and staff education on medication maintenance;
• Ensures compliance with state and federal regulations, CARF Standards, and clinic policy and procedure;
• Maintains and expands knowledge base in accordance with the requirements necessary to maintain professional certification as a Physician Assistant; and,
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Graduate of Physician Assistant program from an accredited college or university
• Previous experience in a substance abuse treatment clinic preferred
• No history of alcohol or drug misuse for a period of three years before employment

Licenses/Certifications:

• Board certified Physician Assisant.
• Licensed Physician Assistant able to practice in state where the clinic operates. 
• DEA license.
