As a vital member of the Timbers and Thorns Retail Team based in Portland, Oregon, USA, you will be a customer-facing supervisor that oversees a team of store and warehouse associates, assists with order fulfillment, and help manage a variety of common retail warehouse responsibilities like restocking, product transfers, and cycle counting.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- You will lead by example for all sales associates, promoting proper dress code, work ethic, attitude and conduct.
- You will assist in scheduling and covering breaks.
- Must be capable or willing to learn software programs like Shipstation, Shopify, Retail Cloud, Google Cloud and Microsoft Word
- Must be proficient with email and text messaging.
- Must be a good verbal and written communicator.
- Interacts with customers and resolves customer complaints in a friendly service-oriented manner.
- Answers customer emails and phone calls to resolve issues as they arise.
- Follows and makes sure staff complies with Standard Operating procedures for:
- Purchase Order Receiving
- Including but not limited to: transporting, counting, recording, tagging, labeling, sorting, and shelving new products in a timely and efficient manner.
- Online Order Fulfillment
- Including but not limited to: picking, sorting, scanning, checking, packing, and shipping orders in a timely and efficient manner.
- Completing Product Transfers
- Including but not limited to: picking, sorting, verifying, and delivering products to locations within the stadium.
- Routine Cycle Counts
- Utilize barcode scanners, touch screens, and online documents to count, track, record, and file inventory.
- Purchase Order Receiving
- Must be able willing to learn how to pull sales and inventory reports and make merchandising and restock decisions based on data.
- Must be capable or willing to learn how to customize jerseys by adding names, numbers and patches using a heat press.
- Must be able to repeatedly lift 50+ lbs.
- Must be able to work in variable conditions, hot and cold ranging from 25 degrees to 90 degrees.
- As we are an event-based environment, you must be able to accommodate a varying work schedule with shifts that can fluctuate across mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and possible holidays.
- Must be willing to comply with sanitation and safety requirements.
- Performs other duties as assigned
