Position Summary

The Presales Proposal Specialist position is a key part of Securitas Healthcare’s success as this individual will impact Securitas Healthcare sales, revenue, and internal documentation needs. Proposal Specialists, as part of the Professional Services Organization (PSO) team, support sales booking and revenue generating activities. This role leads in creating Securitas Healthcare Request for Proposal, Request for Information and Request for Quote responses as the key contributor in the project management, coordination of efforts, content completion, formatting, and final response assembly and delivery, leveraging the self-maintained proposal database. Additionally, the Proposal Specialist assists the Sales Team with Sales Proposal template creation and proposal completion, providing market feedback by identifying and documenting future product and application needs identified during proposal assembly activities.

The right candidate will have experience in a fast-paced environment.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Lead the management of a proposal database for content management and proposal generation. Build this knowledge base for worldwide sharing of application and RFx responses.
  • Maintain solid knowledge and understanding of supported use cases to facilitate writing proposals and response documents, easily identifying any unsupported feature requests or product specifications.
  • Conduct proposal kick-off meetings with internal collaborators to review the proposal timeline, deliverables, and responsibilities.
  • Coordinate the completion of proposal and response documents under tight, sometimes mandated response time constraints.
  • Coordinate completion of technical questionnaires and cybersecurity risk assessments with Presales, Product Engineering and Security SMEs (Subject Matter Experts).
  • Provide deliverables as requested to include completed responses and supporting documentation (product descriptions, data sheets, case studies, press releases, Client testimonials, white papers) to meet both electronic and printed hardcopy requirements, sometimes meeting tight domestic and international shipping requirements.
  • Create proposals and responses under a framework that positions Securitas Healthcare products to “real world” problems/solutions with direction from the Sales and Presales teams.
  • Apply knowledge of Securitas Healthcare software and hardware solutions and use cases to develop innovative responses and content for specific Client proposals in addition to general Sales proposals.
  • Flexibility to meet the varying demands both during and outside of normal business hours while supporting the assigned Sales-related activity deadlines. This includes limited international time zone support.
  • Support development and maintenance of Sales proactive proposal documents and Presales solution content and deliverable templates.
  • Provide PSO organization with limited documentation and template formatting assistance when requested.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to craft and ensure current, accurate RFx responses.

Required Skills and Experience

  • 3-5 years Proposal and Response assembly coordination, knowledgebase/ database management, electronic and hardcopy response assembly.
  • 3-5 years Technical Writing experience, preferably in Technology and/or Healthcare industry.
  • Strong organizational skills required to manage concurrent projects, each under tight individual deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Direct Client facing skills not required; however, strong written communication and comprehension skills are a must.
  • Experience with MS Office products required (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point).
  • Marketing and/or Clinical background a plus.
  • Basic understanding of software architectures supporting RTLS coordination and control and basic software application building blocks for healthcare systems (ADT, EMR, CMMS, etc.) a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of RF Wi-Fi and RTLS principles; networking concepts, database concepts a plus.
  • Experience with RocketDocs or similar proposal database management a plus.
  • Writing samples are required.
