Overview

LMI seeks a Property/Supply Analyst to support a federal program management office in the National Capital Region. As part of our high-performing team, you will augment our vital work to provide "eyes and ears" technology to protect our nation. This position requires the ability to pass a government background investigation, including financial, criminal, residential, educational, foreign affiliation, prohibited substance use, and employment verifications; active U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) background investigation preferred. Please note that only U.S. citizens are eligible for a suitability determination.

This position is located on-site in Summit Point, WV. 

 

Some travel in support of client activities required.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities may include: 

You will support managing of assets and supply chain activities along with general warehouse management for our client's portfolio of programs, projects, demonstrations, and other efforts. Working on site in Summit Point, WV, representative responsibilities are:

  • Responsible for shipping and receiving critical parts to support field operations, coordinate the repair of unserviceable assets received from field locations, and entering asset transactions in the government's property accountability database and other asset and maintenance management database applications as required.
  • Serve as the Local Property Officer (LPO) supporting the CBP facility operation and as a Utilization and Disposal Officer responsible for screening unrequired assets for reutilization and performing disposal actions for assets beyond economical repair.
  • As the LPO you will also support requisite periodic inventories and reconcile asset records as required to support the government's financial statement audit process.
  • Determine and maintain sparing and consumable levels by working with program logistics and vendors.
  • Track status and maintain records on all contractor repairs and failure root causes.
  • Provide packaging, handling, and marking of assets services in preparation for shipment along with warehouse stocking and management.
  • Develop ad hoc reports associated with inventory, shipment, and configuration status of assets at the Summit Point location and CBP locations on the border.
  • Conduct periodic spot check audits for selected sites using property data extracts from financial and asset management databases.
  • Provide visitor security escort and tracking.
Qualifications

MINIMUM SKILLS

  • 5+ years of work experience with demonstrated experience in data entry and records management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Ability to effectively solve problems.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • A true team player who maintains a positive attitude in a dynamic environment.
  • An active CBP Background Investigation is preferred; the ability to successfully complete a CBP Background Investigation and US citizenship are required. Please note that only U.S. citizens are eligible for a suitability determination.

DESIRED SKILLS

  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with federal government property management regulations and processes desired.
  • Knowledge of government supply chain operations and processes desired.
