The Rover is responsible for the following:

Recurring Duties

  • Patrol Property/ Seawall/ Clubhouse Store elevator pads after 6pm
  • Post notices/flyers at mailrooms/ elevators & hand deliver
  • Remove outdated material Replace building walkway lights
  • Complete light check for entire buildings, rotating schedule Secure pool umbrellas, arrange deck furniture
  • Check gas grills not in use
  • Complete work orders for maintenance Complete Incident reports when necessary Receive packages after hours
  • Distribute Monthly Quarterdecks Cone off back gate
  • Secure Clubhouse

Physical Demands

The physical demands of the position are listed in accordance with the requirements of the Americans with Disability Act (ADA)

Body Positions:

  • Standing - Up to 25% of the time.
  • Walking - Up to 25% of the time.
  • Sitting - Up to 50% of the time.
  • Body Movements; lifting and exerting force shall be required up to 40 pounds.
  • No unusual physical requirements.
  • The Senses which are necessary for the successful performance of this position are:
  • Taste or Smell: None
  • Vision: Ability to see information in print and/or electronically.
  • Hearing: Ability to hear sufficient to converse in person and on the phone.

  • Parking violations
  • Water leaks
  • Resident complaints
  • Noise, Contractors working after hours, smoking on balconies, etc. Pool violations
  • Infants/ Residents, pool and/or spa after dark
  • Elevator problems (post notice, notify Securitas to call for repair)
  • Resident trapped inside (Call 911) Wellness checks
  • Provide contractor/tech access to elevator /electrical rooms Respond to residents locked out of unit
  • Bridge exit gate problems/ Pedestrians on bridge Provide access to clubhouse rooms; kitchen, Ippolito, etc Seawall safety violations, pets, carriages, etc
  • Assist with clubhouse parties/events cleanup Clean fallen tree debris from parking lots

When necessary:

Call/ Notify...

  • 911 / Non-emergency Sheriff
  • Critical Systems Solution (after hours, trouble alarms)
  • On-call Maintenance (after hours)
  • Building Directors
  • Management

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 per hour
