Description
Do you like working behind the scenes while keeeping a large facility running? The Office of Building and Mechanical Services provides mechanical, building and grounds maintenance, inventory control, maintaining warehouse supplies, Work Control Center and electronic security for state-owned buildings.The Work Control Center is comprised of Administrative personnel and Warehouse personnel.
The Property Officer Supervisor supervises and assists with inventory management in receving, checking, storing, delivering and accounting for materials, supplies and equipment.This position will be responsible for the Departmental inventory records, fixed assets, warehouse inventory and our wireless and Xerox accounts.

Minimum Requirements
EDUCATION: High School Graduate
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS: Four years of experience in the inventory, control, sales or disposal, or acquisition of property, or a related field.
Substitute EDUCATION for EXPERIENCE: Additional education will substitute for the required experience up to two years.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (AGE, LICENSURE, REGULATION, ETC.): NONE

Probationary Period
This job has an initial and promotional probationary period of 6 months, except as provided in KRS 18A.111.
