Our Property Desk Adjusters investigates, estimates, collaborates estimates, evaluates, negotiates, supplements, file reviews and reports to property division, hybrid position.

Minimum Requirements

College bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred; prior residential and commercial desk adjusting/quality assurance/file review experience required; demonstrated oral and written communication, problem analysis, planning and organizational skills required. 3+ years as field adjuster/ Desk Adjuster experience preferred. Xactimate and Guidewire experience preferred.

Location and equipment

Hybrid position with time spent working remote from home and in office as needed. Must be able to operate a computer and smart phone. Occasional travel by airplane is required. Typical work week will be 40 hours Monday through Friday. However, must be flexible to work additional hours and days when needed based on claim volume.

Contact with others.

Inside contact with adjusters and clerical workers. Outside contact with clients, policyholders, claimants, trade-persons, and attorneys as directed.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Residential and commercial lines claim handling.

· Communicate, as needed, with the Team Leads and/or client to ensure the assignment is being completed accurately and the client’s needs are being met.

· Analyze and evaluate special damages including reserves, property estimates, personal property inventories, business interruption, etc.

· Negotiate and conclude claims, as requested. Prelitigation and litigation, attorney, and Public Adjuster communication.

· Analyze insurance coverage issues on specific claims and make recommendations to the client.

· Perform any other job-related tasks as assigned by Manager/Supervisor.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
