Property Audit Analyst

  • Obtain, maintain, submit, analyze, and report Property Logistics information based on an established checklists that will come from various sources to include DA IG, Independent Auditors, Army Audit Agency, and Internal Inspections such as the Risk Management Internal Control Program (RMIC).
  • Organize and execute internal Property Audits, command inspections, and staff assisted visits to departments within the PEO which impact property accountability and management. Provide technical assistance and advise PEO Personnel on audit related activities and internal control development, testing and management to include: inventories, annual inventory reconciliations, audit reporting, and daily tasks related to the General Equipment audit.
  • Provide technical assistance and advise PEO Personnel on regulations surrounding property accountability and asset reporting, policies and procedures regarding FLIPL actions, and develop policy that aligns with DoD and Army regulations.
  • Provide technical assistance in the coordination, research and submission of the customer's internal findings for all Property Audit related taskers from various sources, assist with follow-on questions, and Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) that result from audit Notice of Findings, and Recommendations (NFRs).
  • Assists senior analysts and government customers in recommendations for modifying, revising, or implementing procedures to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of recording, cataloging, and valuing property.
  • Provides technical assistance regarding the RMIC (Army Regulation 11-2) and best practices regarding self-auditing and risk assessments. Provides Access Management for the eFLIPL system PEO wide.
  • Renders input in preparation for high level meetings with customers, senior Army officers and civilians, corporate executives, government action officers and other vendors. This input may be narrative or charts and should be of a quality that little rework is required by senior analyst or PM.
  • Independently assess existing internal policies and in coordination with government customer, continuously improve audit documents, training materials, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Position Requirements:

  • Existing SECRET security clearance highly desired.
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in related field; significant relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Excellent communication skills; strong organizational skills; ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, and Project experience preferred.
  • LIW, AESIP, DPAS, GCSS-Army experience preferred.
