This position functionally reports to and works under the direction of the Survey Manager. The primary responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to the following:
Job Description
- Responsible for survey input on multiple projects from initial tender phase, onshore engineering support, offshore construction, and delivery of final as-built documents.
- Reinforce and strengthen the HSES and Quality culture at every opportunity and promote correct behaviors through personal actions.
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of all existing and upcoming survey technology and equipment to ensure projects are carried out effectively and efficiently.
- Help produce tender and commercial proposal deliverables such as technical bid evaluations, Method Statements and Material Take-Offs for project survey activities.
- Confirm onshore DC Survey requirements are identified and followed for each project.
- Efficient with 3D seabed interpretation for slope analysis and LBL array planning.
- Work with ROV personnel to ensure compatibility between survey sensors and ROV interfaces.
- Participate in design control and operability meetings as appropriate e.g. Design Reviews, Constructability, HIRA, Offshore Readiness Reviews, Lessons Learned etc. Ensure all actions are addressed and implemented into the appropriate procedures.
- Ability to travel offsite to help manage 3rd party surveyor and TechnipFMC vessel mobilizations.
You are meant for this job if:
- Bachelor's degree in an Engineering Discipline or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Surveying or Geomatics Discipline preferred.
- A minimum of three (3) years' experience of the execution of survey operations offshore.
- A minimum of three (3) years' experience of the execution of subsea construction operations.
- Ability to obtain a TWIC, passport, working visa(s) and medical certs such as BOSIET and OGUK
