Construction Superintendent
Summary of Position
Responsible for field operations on the project assigned in order to achieve timely and profitable completion of each project. The Superintendent directly supervises field labor force, including laborers/craft workers. This position must demonstrate strong leadership, organizational and time management skills, as well as have strong communication and client service skills. Position will ensure that work progresses according to schedule and that material and equipment are delivered to the work site on time and safely. Assist in bidding opportunities and preconstruction services by performing constructability reviews and providing input on costs, scheduling and pre-planning. Responsible for communication to Project Mangers, internal and external clients and labor force. Manage CPM schedules, including preparation of detailed short-term schedules and ensuring all activities take place on or ahead of schedule. Prepare and submit reports, attend project meetings and coordinate site testing and inspection efforts. Monitor project costs, including labor time and material.

The salary range for this position is $120,000 to $140,000 with the average starting salary is in the 40th percentile range and is commensurate with experience and training.
