Project Safety Manager

We are seeking a seasoned Safety professional with OSHA 30 certification and extensive experience in construction safety. A comprehensive understanding of electrical industry consensus standards such as NFPA, NESC, ASTM, and ANSI is essential. • The Project Safety Manager plays a crucial role in fostering an Incident and Injury Free Culture (IIFC) within Project Teams by creating and maintaining a Project Safety Roadmap and Site Safety Plan. This position is responsible for ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local safety regulations.
• As the Project Safety Manager, your key responsibilities include producing weekly Total Case Incident Reports for significant projects and presenting them to project leadership and management.
• Lead investigations into incidents and injuries with the support of Production leadership and actively participate in weekly toolbox safety meetings.
• Monitor and audit Subcontractor compliance to ensure alignment with applicable standards, regulations, and Project Safety requirements.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required. A Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) or a related field such as Construction Management, Business, or Engineering is preferred.
• OSHA 30 Construction certification is mandatory. CPR/FA certification (Trainer Preferred) and other safety certifications are desirable. The candidate must be willing to obtain a BCSP CHST certification or higher within 12 months.
• Three (3) to five (5) years of construction safety experience, with a preference for experience in electrical safety.
