We are seeking a Sr. Sourcing Specialist who will work in the HPS Projects organization and will lead the sourcing efforts on large automation projects including but not limited to major scopes such as EPC SOW, Engineering services, Electrical installation / subcontractors, large scale batteries supply, containerized buildings, various electrical equipment, complete Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) solutions. The position will ensure risk free execution of projects and deliver on sourcing KPIs.
Key Responsibilities
Drive and execute Annual and Strategic Plan with promoting strategies
Right and fast execution of strategies to align with business Growth and New Product Introductions
Manage site category and commodity strategies including spend exploration, benchmarking, cost, market analysis and global technology and economic trends
Ensure relationship development and management with key supplier leadership
Align with Honeywell businesses
Manage supplier selection, RFQ and RFI process, negotiation, contracting and supplier performance processes
Improve working capital thru payment terms extensions, payment cycle optimization, vendor managed inventory and direct time reductions
Assist in site tactical procurement escalations, reconciliations and reporting as required
MUST HAVES
5+ years of Strategic Sourcing experience in an Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC) or Project environment including project planning and implementation
Relevant Experience with SAP Production
Thorough understanding of procurement and contracting of electrical constructions Services

Professional certifications in Project/Supply Chain/ Procurement/Contract Management
Team director experience in Supply Management/Sourcing/Procurement/Business
Demonstrated business and financial acumen
Experience with Six Sigma and Lean tools
Masters' degree
Project Management and/or Contract Management Experience
Familiar with construction permitting process in the US
Sourcing experience in renewable energy market (BESS), Electrical market (projects)including services and equipment
