Project Manager/Water Resources Engineer (Public Trust)

Working with an excellent client that is looking to hire a Project Manager/Water Resources Engineer ! This will be a direct hire role with a  starting salary of $110-$120k. The posotion will also be hybrid. Mostly remote but will need to go on-site once a week in New York City.

About the Posotion:

We're seeking an experienced water Resources Engineer. You will be in charge of planning, evaluating, and managing water resource systems, including irrigation, stormwater, wastewater, and water supply.

You will collaborate with clients, other engineers, and project managers to ensure that projects are finished on time, within budget, and following the requirements.

Job Duties:

• Support hydrologic and hydraulic model inquiries and evaluations
• Provide flood risk management and mitigation recommendations
• Coordinates activities of multi-disciplinary staff to ensure project delivery per schedule, on budget, and within scope parameters
• Works with team members and clients to prepare scopes, schedules, budgets, assumptions, and constraints for projects
• Upon approval of individual projects, provides oversight for the development of project plans for efficient and successful delivery across the full project lifecycle
• Oversees adherence to project plans and established business processes, including quality and project management and standards 
• Participate in client meetings and follow through on assigned action items directly with clients and communities
• Provides guidance to team members related successful delivery across the full project lifecycle, including developing forecasts and estimates

Requirements:

• Must have RiskMAP experience
• Must have FEMA experience 
• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience of coordination and management of projects.  
• Four-year Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Planning, Business, Communications, or related discipline
