The Project Manageris responsible for overseeing all project activities and leading the successful delivery of DataHouse projects. They are the primary project interface to our clients and exemplify our value-centric, people-focused approach to partnering with our clients and community.
*This position can be based from a home office in the US, or at our beautiful headquarters in Honolulu, Hawaii.
*Frequent Travel might be expected either to our headquarters and/or client and partner offices.
Primary Responsibilities and Duties
- Understand, control, and deliver on project scope and objectives
- Lead the efficient and effective execution of a project to on-time and on-budget delivery
- Regulate changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs
- Develop and nurture client and partner relationships
- Understand, temper, and meet client expectations
- Lead, guide, and support project team execution
- Mentor and support project team members to deliver on their project tasks
- Develop a baseline project plan for project delivery and tracking
- Track and report on project performance, progress, and financial status
- Report and escalate project needs, concerns, risks, and recommended solutions to leadership in a timely manner
- Lead the quality delivery of project solution(s) / product(s)
- Delegate project tasks based on individual strengths, skill sets, and experience levels
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, information system management, or a related field
- 6+ years of software development/implementation project management or related experience
- Proven experience with lifecycle integration system implementation, Web Applications, Data Migration, etc
- Knowledge and experience with AWS services and products preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid practices in collaboration with different stakeholders
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Experienced working with public sector clients
- Ability to work in a collaborative, highly dynamic environment
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
