Summary: We currently have an opening on the Land Water / Wastewater team as a Project Manager. As a Project Manager the prospective employee would manage various water and wastewater facilities projects. They will be required to apply knowledge of engineering principles and practices in broad areas using advanced techniques, theory, precepts, and practices in a specialized engineering field and related sciences and disciplines. The Project Manager would be responsible for the design of water supply plants, wastewater treatment plants, lift stations, and stormwater pump stations as well as related applications and report submittals.
General Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor EIT’s, designers, and CAD draftsmen to produce construction plans, exhibits, reports, tables, etc. as may be requested / required. Be responsible for the daily operations and deliverables that may be necessary for the design, construction, and approval of water and wastewater facilities
- Uses advanced techniques, theory, precepts and practices in a specialized engineering field and related sciences and disciplines
- As a Project Manager you will plan, coordinate, and direct a large and important engineering project or a number of smaller projects with many complex features
- Project Manager will interact with Land Development, their clients, and other consultants and must have good communication skills
- Must be able to manage multiple work assignments and should be able to prioritize work with minimal supervisory assistance
Required Education/Licenses:
- Bachelor of Science, Civil Engineering is required
- Registration as a Licensed Professional Engineer – In Texas
Required Experience:
- 4-10 years of Water/Wastewater facilities experience in the Houston, TX area
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build strong relationships
