Position Title:Project Manager – Tower Business Performance (P3)

Role
The Tower Business Performance Team leads Towers teams through improving and optimizing processes and systems within the business unit. The Project Manager – Tower Business Performance is responsible for project managing of all designated projects and their associated budgets and schedules; including creating schedules, tracking progress, communicating status, and proactively identifying any schedule risks working with cross-functional project teams utilizing the Project Management Principles. This role possesses and applies a deep knowledge of Project Management (PM) Principles, best practices, and procedures in managing process improvement projects.
Responsibilities
- Drive and manage assigned projects start to finish on time utilizing the PM Principles (Initiation, Planning, Execution, Monitoring & Controlling, Closure).
- Demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of all 5 project management principles.
- Create a coherent and cohesive project schedule.
- Develop measures of success to ensure delivery of business value.
- Lead discussions with vendors, teams, peers and managers as necessary.
- Create a communication plan including project status and business impacts with customers and interested parties.
- Track risks, actions, issues and decisions utilizing a RAID log or other method chosen for tracking.
- Deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Ensure that forecast and actual dates are maintained in a timely manner.
- Apply critical thinking across all PM principles.
- Develop and maintain programs/projects.
- Provide customer project management consultation services.
- Share best practices and templates.
- Assist teams through PM principles.
- Recognize opportunities for efficiency gains and innovation within the business offering solutions through business proposals, influencing, promoting the PM Principles as necessary.

Education/Certifications
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred
Experience/Minimum Requirements
- Five (5) or more years of project management experience
- Managing project budgets or related financial experience
- Excellent personal computer skills utilizing Microsoft Office products including Microsoft Project
- Mastery with and practice of the PM Principles

Working Conditions: This role falls into our hybrid work model working in the office on Monday through Thursday. On Fridays, teammates on the hybrid schedule will have the option to work from the office or home. There is an expectation of collaboration with teammates and stakeholders for moments that matter that could require travel.
