We are looking for a SeaGuardian IRAD Project Manager. This position will report to a senior program manager and will assist with planning, managing and technical performance of one of the largest IR&D programs within the company. Role will focus on execution and management of subcontractor procurements, tracking capital hardware procurements in alignment IR&D timelines, and interfacing with production to support procurements of new capabilities. Opportunities will be present to directly manage subprojects within the IR&D.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with development of project plan and manage resources to ensure project schedule, budget, quality, and specification goals are attained.
- Manage and monitor project plans, schedules, timelines, and milestones from initiation to delivery for internal research and development efforts.
- Collaborate with technical staff and group management to develop and implement short, medium and long term technical, schedule, quality, business and financial objectives.
- Monitor work of project management staff, providing technical support and direction when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with environmental and other regulations.
- Identify and assess project issues and develop recommendations for solutions to meet productivity, quality and customer satisfaction goals and objectives.
- May act as a lead providing direction and guidance to employees working on assigned project.
- May participate in the request for proposal (RFP) process to generate new business.
- Maintain the strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Ensure all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations are observed wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company.
- Responsible for ensuring work is accomplished in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.

Job Qualifications:
- Typically requires a Bachelors in Business Administration or related discipline and at least six years of progressively complex experience in project administration. May substitute equivalent experience in lieu of education.
- Must be able to develop solutions to problems that require coordination of technologies across program requirements.
- Must have a good understanding of project management processes and procedures, planning, scheduling methods, and budget management.
- Ability to organize, schedule, and coordinate workloads to meet established milestones and budgets.
- Ability to initiate, plan and manage projects.
- Ability to identify issues, analyze and interpret data and develop solutions to a wide range of issues.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to work extended hours and travel as required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
