Job Description
- Plan, document, and provide project status reports on each project assigned by management.
- Ensure that project plans are based on complete specifications and customer expectations.
- Maintain project schedule, monitor progress against the schedule, and guide project decision-making to adhere to schedule targets.
- Guides and resolves resource conflicts and coordinates with functional managers and customers/partners to insure on-time completion of deliverables.
- Assess project risk in key areas (budget, schedule, quality/functionality, and cost) throughout the project.
- Communicate risks to team and project stakeholders and coordinate mitigation activities.
- Accountable for team’s performance to project targets of schedule, project cost, product cost, feature completeness, and product quality. This includes understanding and managing technology, systems, and resources.
- Communicate effectively with customers and across all levels of the organization.
- Maintain and consistently report program performance metrics to leadership.
- Negotiate and track changes to project scope and targets.
- Report variances as program progresses.
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships built on Performance and Integrity.
- Maintain a clear focus on customer service throughout any activities – helping to balance the needs of the organization with the needs of the customer.
- Communicate decisions to the team regarding direction and objectives in a way that maximizes ownership and progress toward goals.
- Provides leadership to project teams through motivation, influence, and coaching.
- Leverage deep knowledge of organizational roles and responsibilities to continually evolve business processes and procedures that focus on people over process

- 2 - 5 years of experience leading new Product Development.
- 2 - 5 years of experience leading teams in a direct report or matrixed environment.
- Strong computer skills - highly proficient with standard PM tools including MS Office, Project, and Outlook.
- Demonstrated ability to manage entire product life cycle from new Product Development through end of life including revenue forecasting.
- BS degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) related field or equivalent experience required.
- PMI PMP certification or PDMA NPDP certification.
- Requirements gathering, analysis, tracking, and systems engineering.
- Experience with medical / technical products requiring agency approvals and regulatory compliance.
- Six Sigma certification Working conditions: Position will primarily be located in a controlled office environment with frequent requirements to conduct work in the warehouse or production areas. Other requirements including standing, walking, sitting, talking, hearing, fingering, grasping, use of personal computer and related office equipment, and a minimum 40 work hours per week. Minimal travel may be required.
