Job Type: Hybrid: Work location & Remote (3 days in office/2 days remote)

SCOPE OF SERVICES: The senior Project Manager will collaborate with City agencies to implement a citywide Privileged Access Management (PAM) solution. The primary goal is to mitigate security risks associated with password-only access, unauthorized access, and compromised credentials. The project aims to create more reliable information systems and enhance resiliency.

TASKS:

1. Work directly with vendors, technical staff, and agencies to ensure project success.
2. Coordinate with internal stakeholders across the agency for effective communication, adoption, and project ramp-up.
3. Manage multi-function team coordination, opportunity screening, proposal development, cost/benefit analysis, vendor selection, schedule and budget oversight, contractor/vendor management, issue resolution, and project closeout.
4. Develop approved project proposals and assist in the creation of project charters, cost estimates, and other project-related artifacts.
5. Facilitate business case analysis.
6. Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and resources.
7. Develop and maintain a division-level project delivery schedule with well-documented materials, Gantt charts, and other executive briefing materials.
8. Perform related duties as required.

MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

• At least 8 years of experience in project management.
• Demonstrated experience in managing Agile and Waterfall projects.
• Demonstrated experience in managing Identity Management projects.
• Bachelor's degree.
• PMP or equivalent certification.

DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

• Knowledge of complex network architecture and hosting strategies.
• Understanding of authentication integration in Windows and Linux environments.
• Knowledge of NIST framework related to Identity & Access Management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple, high-intensity projects simultaneously.
• Strong knowledge of various project management tools.
• Willingness to travel to agency offices within NYC as required.

• Required to confirm certificates and degrees of the final candidate prior to onboarding.
