Project Manager

Serves as a Project Mgr/Implementation Lead overseeing large scale priority projects and strategic planning efforts associated with the Wildfire Crisis Strategy landscapes that impact Forests as well as associated partners, communities, other government/non-government organizations & stakeholders.

Specialized Experience Requirement:
For the GS-12: You must have one year specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as two or more of the following: provided technical guidance in the planning and executing of proposed projects; and/or developed and implemented strategies to complete the program of work most efficiently and effectively for assigned projects; and/or analyzed and measured the efficiency and productivity of programs or projects.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
