Great Hill is seeking a Project Manager Level IIin Ft. Cavazos, Carl R. Darnall Medical Center (CRDAMC).
The objective of this work is to provide the IM/IT support services. Services include establishing and engaging in providing computer related services (except custom programming, and systems integration design). Tasks also include providing computer disaster recovery services or software installation services, PC troubleshooting, network and cabling, installation/upgrade of software and hardware, end user training, software troubleshooting and data entry support. Connected health, electronic health records, innovative solutions, personal health information management and other health IT services. Services include Program and Project Management – Program Communication and Coordination, Coordinate Security Architecture Installation, Circuit Coordination, IP Data Collection Analysis, Processing and Validation. Operations Cell Management, Business-to-Business VPN Coordination and Data Collection Effort are encompassed in this effort.
Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Provide assistance to the Government manager in the planning, execution, tracking, and periodic reporting of all aspects of the organization/command IMD/HIT Program.
- Execute ad-hoc IT related projects.
- Manage, coordinate, facilitate, oversee, and track initiatives and projects with varying timelines and scopes using state-of-the-art PM techniques for risk assessment and abatement and Program Knowledge Management (PKM).
- Establish and maintain a formal program management organizational structure of the Great Hill Solutions' employees and provide the Government with an electronic copy of an organizational diagram to include a directory with the positions, names, and contact information of all sub-organizations such as engineering, operations, service managers, program and project management personnel who are designated as Government points of contact.
- Provide weekly updates on each of the assigned activities, build project plans utilizing the Program Management Book of Knowledge (PMBOK) and ITIL methodologies, report on milestones as appropriate, report whether all tasks and deliverables are being met.
- Review and apply new IM/IT regulatory guidance and BBPs; and prepare/present briefs on updated requirements to the Government IM/IT manager and staff.
- Evaluate current processes (and ad-hoc projects as identified by the CRDAMC, team) and identify shortfalls. Incumbent shall develop and provide recommended solutions and present findings/recommendations for improvement to the Government IM/IT manager.
- Perform document and policy review; formulate and draft responses on a wide range of IM/IT-related topics.
- Responds to and diagnoses problems through discussion with users and Service now helpdesk platform.
- Deliver a Simi-Annual plan to increase the documentation of tickets and lines of effort by 15% annually. Currently, CRDAMC is striving to increase their ticket documentation from 20% overall documented, by 15% annually.
- Monitors and responds to complex technical control facility hardware and software problems. Interfaces with vendor support service groups to ensure proper escalation during outages or periods of degraded system performance.
- Supports all personnel engaged in the operation and support of core data center, including all hardware equipment on various platforms in large scale or multi-shift operations.
- Monitors systems performance data and makes appropriate systems tuning adjustments to optimize performance and correct and prevent problems. Recovers data in the event of hardware or software failure; and ensures customers receive current versions of supported software as they become available.
- Utilizes software and hardware tools and identifies and diagnoses complex problems and factors affecting network performance.
- This position requires some physical lifting of equipment.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- Secret Clearance
- Security + certification preferred
Desired Skills:
- PMP Certified
- 3-5 years of experience as a Project Manager
- General Knowledge of Military Treatment Facility (MTF) IM/IT operations
