Job Summary
Join our Global Operations Team as a Project Manager I, where you'll play a crucial role in project management with a focus on learning and growing in your strategic responsibilities. You will contribute to the successful execution of projects that support our OPEX-driven initiatives across various lines of business.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Project Leadership and Meeting Facilitation: Take a lead role in project management, actively contributing to planning, scoping, execution, and closure. Additionally, lead meetings to ensure deliverables are met, timelines are adhered to, team members are held accountable, and discussions stay focused.
- Strategic Project Planning Support: Assist in developing and executing strategic project plans, aligning them with broader organizational goals.
- Internal Communication: Provide weekly reporting on project progress including milestones, risks, and blockers
- Resource Coordination: Play a role in coordinating project resources, including team members, budgets, and external partners, ensuring successful project delivery.
- Dependency Management Involvement: Participate in identifying and managing project dependencies, contributing to transparent delivery plans and ensuring timely completion.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate closely with business leaders and C-suite members, fostering strong relationships and aligning projects with organizational strategies. Effectively communicate project progress, objectives, and potential impacts to ensure shared goals are met.
- Risk Awareness and Mitigation: Contribute to the identification and proactive mitigation of project risks, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Process Improvement Participation: Actively participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance development efficiency and deliverable quality for clients.
- Data-Informed Decision Support: Assist in leveraging data for decision-making, contributing to continuous improvement and optimization of project management processes.
Job specifications (Required skills)
- Bachelor's degree in a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certification, such as PMP, is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of project management experience, with a proven track record of successfully managing projects.
- Strong proficiency in project management software tools, e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to articulate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Preferred Skills (non-essential)
- Asana, and Microsoft Office experience
Physical Requirements
- Travel requirement – 10%
- Ability to lift 10 pounds (laptop for remote work)
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 90% of the time.
- Move about inside the office for meetings and to access office equipment
- Ability to sit for long periods of time at a computer utilizing a phone with headset
- Operate a keyboard for system access and email communication
- Position primarily communicates verbally with clients through phone and call center software.
