BASIC FUNCTION AND RESPONSIBILITY:
Manages projects to improve the overall business and related activities for the designated Finance departments.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Manage the Revenue Cycle/Finance/Managed Care planning and implementation projects. Maintain all appropriate project deliverables and responsibilities including project scheduling, risk management, change management, issue management, and status reporting. Coordinate completion of documentation for TIPS approval of project when appropriate.Develop a Request for Proposal, manage responses, analyze results, present findings, and arrange for demonstrations as applicable. Manage the vendor selection process to ensure fair analysis and unbiased selection. Review vendor offerings and make recommendations for review of those most suitable for the department.
Oversee the tasks, timelines, and resources necessary to implement the products necessary for the management of the Revenue Cycle/Finance/Managed Care functions. Ensure the project stays on time and budget. Maintain an issues resolution log, escalating issues as appropriate. Coordinate with vendors to develop an implementation plan for process improvement, installation, data conversion,
system build, testing, training, and other aspects of a coordinated implementation. In addition, lead the internal
implementation team, including hardware and software implementation, network setup, system configuration, and user
preference design, testing and training.
Conduct workflow and process mapping analysis to identify potential functions for the type of Revenue Cycle/Finance/Managed Care support being sought. Trace the flow of processes through our system network, including how the interface engine is sending messages. Measure the time it takes to perform these processes and perform benefit analysis and benefit realization. Run collaboration committees to ensure all leaders are learning and connecting their projects and works with each other. Research and identify trends in the field and stay current on policies and procedures. May complete unit/department specific duties as outlined in department documents.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED:
Supervision is received by designated manager/supervisor.
SUPERVISION EXERCISED:
Functional and technical supervision is exercised over project teams, but no direct administrative supervision is exercised.

Bachelor's degree in project management, business, information technology, computer science, finance, or a related area.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Four (4) years work experience.
Additional license/certification requirements as determined by the hiring department.
