The Opportunity:Join the Postman team as a Project Manager responsible for overseeing the internal needs for our inaugural User Conference. You'll collaborate with internal stakeholders and an external event agency to ensure the seamless execution of this pivotal event. This role involves working closely with various internal departments to coordinate internal needs including curating engaging content sessions (with support from internal SMEs), coordinating product announcement details, planning for staff needs on site and travel timelines, orchestrating captivating demonstrations.

What You'll Do:- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and an external event agency to drive the event's success.
- Coordinate and manage multiple workstreams to ensure timely responses and event preparation.
- Assist with developing engaging sessions, product releases, and captivating demonstrations.
- Create and maintain project timelines, workback schedules, documentation, and deliverables throughout the event's lifecycle.
- Partner and lead weekly meetings with event agency to ensure deliverables are on track, next steps, and action items are identified, and share out meeting notes to the working team members.
- Act as the central point of contact between internal teams and external partners.
- Attend weekly meetings with event agency to follow progress, answer questions and gather to-do lists for applicable internal teams/departments to keep momentum going.
- Create tickets as needed for supporting internal teams, including creative, Marketing engineering, and content; manage review cycle between working team members and stakeholders
- Ensure scope is defined for working team members and that necessary requirements have been met, including specs, templates, content, creative direction, etc.
- Proven experience in project management, ideally within event production or similar fields.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage various stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to liaise effectively with diverse teams.
- Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Flexibility and adaptability to evolving project needs.
- Availability for full-time contract work for six months leading up to and throughout the event.
- Availability for select site visit(s) in San Francisco and full on-site support of event during event week including setup days in late April/early May.
- Familiarity with Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence.

What Else?This role is a contracting position based in the greater San Francisco bay area, and the reasonably estimated hourly rate for this role ranges from $40 to $80 per hour. Actual compensation is based on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. In addition to our pay-on-performance philosophy, we offer a comprehensive set of benefits, including full medical coverage, flexible PTO, wellness reimbursement, and a monthly lunch stipend.
