HB McClure is looking to hire a mid-level but experienced Project Manager to join our Harrisburg team. This role is responsible to plan, schedule and manage the full execution of all assigned retrofit, new construction and design/build projects for commercial/light industrial clientele. You will be accountable to ensure all project specifications are followed and work proceeds on schedule and within budget. This position demands a variety of management responsibilities and requires daily communication directly with clients, contractors and interoffice teams to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Document technical requirements, develop and implement project plans and facilitate efficient implementation for the scope of work, to include project schedules, budgets, purchasing, risk assessment and manpower for a timely and cost-effective project completion
- Understand contracts, prepares estimates for change orders and proposals for customers
- Control the financial position of the project including billings, change orders managing material, sub-contractors, and provide an overall monthly status of the project to include the financial projections
- Facilitate communications between field staff, suppliers, customers, subcontractors, and interoffice teams to maximize and provide effective management techniques to maximize performance of each
- Visit job sites to monitor progress, perform field inspections and resolve field problems as well as analyze productivity and its effect on job costs
- Monitor and document job progress, changes, delays submittals, RFIs and any other related reporting
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required; College, technical or trade school, preferred
- Robust knowledge of the mechanical and plumbing industries with at least 5 years prior experience in commercial HVAC/plumbing, construction project management, and purchasing/contract management experience
- Previous leadership experience required
- Entrepreneurial mindset, self-starter able to take initiative in a fast-paced work environment with competing demands
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate at various levels throughout the organization
- Strong analytical skills and critical thinker with a desire to improve efficiency
- Proficiency with MS Office and other industry related software such as DAVISWare, Bluebeam or Navisworks
- Valid PA drivers license with an acceptable motor vehicle record
- Successful completion of pre-employment background and drug screenings
