Project Manager

As a Project Manager with S&H team, you will assume a critical leadership role that will allow you to demonstrate the same commitment to customers, subcontractors, and one another that has made S&H what it is today. Oversee all phases of construction from project planning through final punch list to deliver and on-schedule and on-budget project. Responsible for all communications to update clients on schedule and budget on weekly basis.
So, what does that look like?

• Reports to Field Director
• Deliver an on-schedule and on-budget project with the highest technical and quality craftsmanship.
• Create and maintain a trusting open relationship with the client and design team.
• Uphold S+H Construction culture (problem solving, no yelling)
• Maintain a clean and organized jobsite.
• Adhere to all safety procedures in the S+H Construction Safety Manual.
• Invoice payment collections from clients.
• Identify and capture variation from original estimated scope and oversee creation of change orders.
• Weekly vendor / subcontractor invoice approval.
• Weekly timesheet approvals for assigned S+H Construction personnel.
• Create a weekly recap email to client.
• Oversee updates to financial reports and Gantt schedule, and discuss with clients every billing cycle (every two weeks)
• Complete project with the end result of happy clients, who will act as referral.
• A relentless and sustained commitment to keeping our customers, subcontractors and colleagues informed, particularly on a regular basis with change orders, schedule updates, financial reporting, jobsite meetings and, when needed, difficult conversations
• Not being above rolling up your sleeves when needed to support the team; for examples, preparing and distributing meeting minutes, managing punch-lists, lists, obtaining permits, purchasing finishing materials, creating/securing subcontractor bids and quotes, and estimating jobs

• Hourly pay of $35 - $35 (plus overtime after 40 hours) commensurate with experience
