About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Administrative Project Manager to provide critical support to IT Modernization initiative. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to efficiently manage administrative aspects of the project. The ideal candidate will facilitate a smooth project operation, documentation, and ensure effective communication across all levels of the organization.
Responsibilities:
· Developing the Project Charter, including the business cases; Project Plan, including the work breakdown structures; and direct and manage the Project Execution, including Stakeholder management
· Preparing and organizing project documentation, including reports and correspondence. Ensuring the accuracy and completeness of project records and maintains version control
· Facilitating communication, written and verbal, within the project team and external stakeholders
· Ensuring efficient utilization of project resources both in terms of allocation and tracking, including personnel, equipment, and supplies
· Working closely with the Program Executive to manage new workstream intake, plan, forecast, prepare budgets and proposals, and manage significant risks and issues
· Conducting regular reviews to ensure compliance with project requirements and oversee and actively manage workstreams to ensure high levels of quality
· Managing day-to-day interactions with customers and sponsors
· Managing reporting
· Meeting legal, regulatory, and policy mandates
· Performing other duties as assigned
Candidate Requirements:
· Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Public Health or other related discipline. Master’s degree is preferred
· Current Certified Project Management (PMP) certification and current PMI-Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), CSM, or other equivalent certification
· Seven (7) years of experience in project management
· Five (5) years of experience supervising or overseeing IT-related projects
· A proven track record of successfully implementing Agile methodologies, including at least five (5) years of experience as a Project Manager managing major ($1million or more) projects in a high technology development environment with cross function teams
· Experience with agile tools such as Jira or similar application
· Experience in work planning, monitoring, and reporting
· Experience managing requirements processes, including conducting interviews and documenting technical requirements
· Experience managing vendors and service providers
· Experience working with and managing onsite and remote teams
· Experience with industry-standard System Development Life Cycle methodologies
· Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Demonstrate capacity to engage effectively with stakeholders of all levels
· Eight (8) years of experience in supervision or oversight of IT-related programs or projects
