We are currently seeking a Project Manager to join our team in Little Rock, Arkansas (US-AR), United States (US).
The successful candidate will work as part of a team providing Business Operations Support (BOS) for a state Medicaid Program. Working under the direction of team manager she/he will actively participate in the delivery of tasks/activities and associated deliverables to manage MMIS projects. In collaboration with other NTT DATA consultants, the selected candidate will work directly with state business staff and vendors to support the analysis, planning, design, implementation and evaluation of key system changes, projects, and processes to help the client achieve organizational goals.
Job Responsibilities Include:
• Manage one or more projects while also serving as backup Project Manager to one or more projects
• Ensure project identified processes and methodologies are executed and followed as applicable
• Formulate and document objectives and outcomes based on client needs and industry requirements
• Ensure state staff and system vendors share a common understanding of business requirements and desired outcomes
• Interface with state business users and vendors
• Communicate business rules and technical changes to external stakeholders
• Develop and present formal papers and presentations to business leaders, vendors, and team members
• Identify and report project issues and risks
• Collaborate with team members to provide subject matter expertise, assistance, and to develop and execute test plans and test cases
Required Qualifications:
• Minimum 8 years of experience supporting or developing Health Care systems
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Manager for a Health IT Project
• Minimum 5 years of experience supporting Medicaid system and/or Medicaid business operations
• Minimum 3 years of experience conducting reviews of system development life cycle documentation, project and technical architecture and design deliverables/artifact
• Undergraduate degree or 5 years equivalent combination of education and work experience in healthcare
Preferred Skills:
• Experience managing more than one small-medium projects at a time
• Experience working for and/or liaising with Medicaid Enterprise Systems (MES) vendors
• Ability to translate between non-technical business users and technical IT resources
• Project Management education, certificate, or certification
• Experience and skill in Schedule Management best practices, industry standards, and competency using Microsoft Project software
For Colorado Candidates
In compliance with the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Rules, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. For a candidate in the state of Colorado only, the starting pay range for this role is $91,700 - 135,000.
Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including actual work location, relevant experience (internal or external), technical skills, and other qualifications.
