The Project Manager is responsible for driving profitability by leading multiple projects from conceptualization to implementation. This includes defining project objectives, retrieving scopes of work for each phase, communicating progress to key stakeholders, overseeing quality control, acquiring necessary resources, and coordinating team efforts to deliver projects on time and within scope.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Manage the full life cycle of objectives from inception (proposal and/or quote) stage though completion
- Develop and manage planning and execution for all phases of projects (labor scheduling, material sourcing, budgeting, etc.)
- Partner with team members to develop, implement, and control documentation for projects and their components
- Maintain an open line of communication regarding project plans to key internal and external stakeholders
- Provide leadership to execute the project ensuring that it is completed on time and within scope
- Mitigate risks, challenges, and obstacles through daily guidance and support of project team members and other resources
- Evaluate progress of projects to develop opportunities to improve performance
- Travel Requirements: up to 20% based on business demands
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Engineering, or related discipline
- Project management certification (CAPM)
- 3-5 years of related work experience project management and/or comparable management experience
- 3-5 years of experience with planning and direction of manpower and/or material resources to complete a common objective
- Advanced knowledge of close-tolerance machining and related metrology
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification highly desired
- Understanding of hydraulic/pneumatic/lubrication circuits highly desired
