Job Summary:

Job responsibilities will include supporting the Intergraded Program Team Lead (IPTL) in managing cost and schedule integration, manpower and material forecasts, quarterly Estimates at Completion (EAC), as well as working with the other stake holders to analyze staffing, and cost variances on a weekly/monthly basis. The successful candidate should be comfortable working independently and have the ability to multi-task and work on several different program issues concurrently, in a challenging and deadline driven environment, as part of a team. This position will also have opportunity for additional Project Management tasks related to the program goals of the IPTL.

This is a hybrid role in our Tucson, AZ office.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

  • Support the creation of Estimates at Complete (EACs) on a quarterly basis and Latest Revised Estimates (LRE) on a monthly basis including estimate of costs, test of reasonableness analysis, and risk and opportunities assessment at the Program / Product / Mission area level.
  • Perform detailed EV and financial analysis to budget baseline, schedule, and EAC positions.
  • Prepare forecasts, monitor actual costs, and document variances to plans and forecasts.
  • Participates in critical program communication meetings such as the Monthly Program Review (MPR) and EAC Reviews to communicate issues / changes / risks / opportunities, as well as other budget reviews, Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBR) and audit activities.
  • proposal support including Basis of Estimate (BOE) input and supporting review of BOEs, Statements of Work (SOW), and contract changes.
  • Support of IOT setup, management, and closure
  • Labor charging monitoring and management across all applicable accounts
  • Support of Project Management tasks/ goals of the IPT

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • 5+ years of related experience
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Raytheon Earned Value (EV) Certified
  • Proficient with SAP and Earned Value Tools (APEX/PRISM/BW/PMX Tool)
  • Understanding of EAC structure/preparation
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, with strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • The ability to present and communicate effectively with all levels of stake holders and functions.
  • Understanding of AOP and Long-Range Planning, program forecasting and metrics
  • Experience working independently and with higher levels of management.
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance or have the ability to obtain one within 12 months.
  • Understanding of US Government acquisition laws and regulations (FAR) and (DFARS).

Engineering/Other Technical Positions: Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
