Project Management Intern
Location: Atlanta, GA
This is a hybrid position, with preference for the candidate to be located within 50 mi of our Atlanta, GA Elevance Health offices.
This Project Management Intern will be responsible for supporting our Strategic Claims, Pricing and Reimbursement team in several projects throughout the project delivery life cycle.
How you will make an impact:
  • Researching, analyzing, and documenting operations issues and the issue resolutions
  • Identifying workflows and documenting step-by-step processes to optimize day-to-day functions
  • Contributing research and insights to resolve data discrepancies
  • Researching and implementing documentation solutions to increase the productivity and efficiency of the assigned project-based data work
  • Interfacing with a variety of teams and departments to assist with tasks such as data collection, analysis, and preparing strategic reports
  • Create deliverables that will be shown to leadership and present the data in an easy-to-understand manner
Minimum Requirements:
  • Currently pursuing a Masters degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Healthcare Administration, Health Operations Management, Public Health, or related degree at an accredited college or university
  • Ability to work 40 hour per week 8 hours per day May 20 to August 9
  • Students must be authorized to work in the U.S. without future visa sponsorship requirements

Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:
  • Previous experience managing medium-large scale projects is a plus
  • Previous experience tracking financials is a plus
  • Any management certifications (PMI, PMP, etc.) are greatly preferred
  • Excellent Problem-solving, Analytical, and Organizational skills
  • Excellent Communication and Presentation skills
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with a variety of team members in a fast-paced professional environment
  • Possess a strong intellectual curiosity and motivated to grow knowledge and develop new skills
