Vineyard Offshore brings industry-leading experience to the emerging US-based offshore wind market. Owned by Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners, half of the joint venture behind the Vineyard Wind 1 project, Vineyard Offshore is focused on developing projects that will deliver clean, renewable, and cost-effective offshore wind power around North America. In addition to Vineyard Wind 1, Vineyard Offshore currently owns three additional US lease areas that together can generate at least 3.5 gigawatts of offshore wind energy to power a minimum of two million homes along the Northeastern, Mid-Atlantic and Northern California coasts.
A little bit about the job:
The Project Interface Manager will be an integral part of the Vineyard Offshore Development, Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC), and Public Affairs teams, by serving as the principal interface between the teams to ensure effective coordination, collaboration, and implementation of project needs as it advances through the development and construction phases. The successful candidate will be a self-starter and strategic thinker, with demonstrated project management experience on large-scale projects involving multiple teams. In this role, you will report to the Head of Permitting and Environmental Affairs but will directly interface with the Development, EPC, and Public Affairs Directors.

Schedule: 9 AM to 5 PM (Hybrid – 3 days in the office, 2 days… wherever!)
Travel requirements: Occasional travel to location specific in-person meetings, e.g., DC, Virginia, New York, Connecticut

What you’ll do:
- Serve as the primary liaison between technical, permitting, and public affairs teams, establishing effective communication channels to enhance collaboratio
- Demonstrate an end to end understanding of the interdependencies of regulatory, technical, and external affairs for a multi-year, large scale infrastructure project
- Provide expert guidance on federal, state, and local permitting requirements, guiding the technical team to align designs with regulatory standards. Identify and address any discrepancies to ensure comprehensive compliance
- Proactively identify misalignments between technical designs and federal, state, and local permitting restrictions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop solutions that meet both technical and regulatory criteria
- Stay abreast of changes and requirements in federal, state (New England & New York), and local regulations pertinent to the offshore wind industry. Apply this knowledge to guide project teams in maintaining compliance throughout all project phases
- Collaborate with the procurement team to align purchasing decisions with regulatory standards and contractual obligations
- Cultivate strong relationships between technical, permitting, and public affairs teams
- Promote a collaborative and positive working environment that aligns with federal, state, and local regulatory expectations
