Electrical Division Overview:

Within the diverse array of services offered by Enerfab, our Electrical Division stands as a beacon of expertise in electrical and power solutions. With a team of highly skilled professionals, we specialize in designing, installing, and maintaining electrical systems for a wide range of applications. Our division is known for its adherence to industry best practices and standards, and our team's deep knowledge of electrical industry consensus standards, including NFPA, NESC, ASTM, and ANSI.

Position Summary: As a Project Engineer, you will provide essential daily support to field operations, project management, and customer teams. This role involves coordination of materials, maintenance of project documentation, and serving as a key point of contact for internal customers. While a background in electrical construction is not required, a willingness to learn, adapt, and prioritize safety is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Support:

  • Work closely with project managers and project executives to assist in the execution of project plans.
  • Coordinate material delivery schedules on-site to ensure efficient project progress.
  • Maintain accurate records of Requests for Information (RFI), submittals, and change orders.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for internal teams and customers, addressing inquiries and providing support.

  • Demonstrate a commitment to learning and personal growth with a continuous focus on developing a growth mindset.
  • Collaborate with team members, communicating effectively through various channels.
  • Take initiative and ownership of assigned tasks, ensuring their successful completion.
  • Prioritize safety as the utmost priority, including wearing protective personal equipment (PPE).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Entry-level candidates with zero (0) years of construction or related experience are encouraged to apply.
  • Candidates with two (2) years of construction or related experience are preferred.
  • Possession of a valid state-issued driver's license and a satisfactory driving record.

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND EXPECTATIONS

  • Some job duties are performed within an established office environment under normal lighting and climate-controlled tolerances. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.
  • When the employee is at a work site, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places and outdoor weather conditions. The noise in the work environment is often loud.
  • Requires a consistent physical presence at the branch office to oversee shared services functions and employees, normally achieved by working standard business hours. Certain positions will require a flexibility of working hours to meet the demands of the job and the direction of the manager.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
  • Requires lifting, positioning, pushing, and/or pulling.
  • Frequent reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, and crouching.
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds at times.
