Tower – Project Engineering Coordinator
Position Overview
DTS is currently seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Project Engineering
Coordinator reporting directly to the corporation’s Operations Manager. This is a recently established and growing division with the successful candidate having the opportunity to grow into a bigger role as it meets the needs of the unit.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Monitoring and update Customer Job Tracking Systems
- Maintaining and updating internal operating management system to reflect customer changes including but not limited to new request dates, current status, and new jobs
- Submit Engineering Method of Procedure (MoPs) for customer approval and track customer feedback
- Organize, track and maintain daily project reports from the field
- Create Closeout packages and Reports for Customer Submission – includes accumulating the data and photos needed from the field, updating internal project files, creating final report for customer, and uploading to customer platforms
- Assist Team with other duties and special projects as assigned including creating new processes, programs, and procedures for the tasks listed above
- Support Operations Manager and teams to provide direct assistance on all operating and administrative tasks associated with projects; be knowledgeable in all technical aspects of assigned business unit
- Read, comprehend, and translate all job documentations including but not limited to
CD’s, RFSS’s, SA’s, MA’s and PD’s
- Overlay customer documentation with site audit to perform project viability assessment per site
- Create basic diagrams for RF plumbing per site
- Compile Quotes and Bill of Materials per the viability assessment per site / project
- Ensure project-based files set up in electronic storage systems, and are accurate and complete
- Request quotes for materials and purchased services
- Compile Service Packages for technicians use in the field including MOPs, RFDSs, CDs, and PDs
- Provide telephone and email support to field personnel as needed

Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience working in a supportive or an administrative role
(Preferred)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to effectively and confidently communicate with project managers and co-workers
- Associate degree or higher education (Preferred), High School Education or equivalent
(Required)
- Excellent computer skills and the ability to quickly learn new internal systems and tools
- Proficient using Microsoft Excel to organize, analyze, and manipulate data ( REQUIRED)
- Balanced skill profile including attention to detail, problem solving, organization and time management
- Pass Background, Drug Test and have clean MVR driving record
- Experience in construction, telecommunications, solar, or utilities is a plus.
