Project Engineer

We are looking for a Full time Sr. Project Engineer to hire for our Rowley, Utah Plant site located 60 miles west of SLC, UT. Schedule is M-F 7am to 3:30pm.  

Requirements

·         B.S. Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

·         Good communicative and organizational skills to be able to focus the resources of several departments on projects and problems.

·         Must be a self-starter, organized, good communicator, and able to work well with others.

·         5 years of Project Engineering experience in a heavy industrial environment.

Job Duties

The candidate will be responsible for implementing projects of various size from concept through construction and commissioning.  Will work either directly or within a multidisciplinary team to provide mechanical engineering and other relatable technical expertise to the facility. Some typical duties are: perform engineering calculations, size, specify and select equipment, prepare and review design drawings, prepare cost estimates, prepare contractor scopes of work, inspect fabrication and construction, manage and control costs, and prepare various reports. Activities include design of: process pumps and piping, fans, compressors and other off-gas systems, conveying and material handling, minor structural and other loading mechanisms.

Engineer shall also assist other departments with on-going maintenance and production related modifications and repairs. Engineer shall review plant data, and down-time information to help develop root causes and corrective actions.
