We are looking for a driven Project Engineer/Superintendent to join our collaborative team in Brooklyn, NY. This opportunity will combine Project Engineering and superintendent field responsibilities and you'll provide skilled construction management in a fully occupied medical facility while adding value to the project by applying proven techniques.
You'll have an opportunity to work on active projects coordinating the progression of trades and design-field staff. You will participate in Owner/Architect/contractor meetings and follow projects from commencing of construction to occupancy by end users. Based at a client site, you will oversee that all work completed by contractors and consultants is of the highest quality with safety being our highest priority. You will also provide support to the Project Manager by developing and maintaining project cost/change controls, project budget, and change order estimates/negotiations.
You'll take the lead on daily scheduling and planning activities at the project site, and ensure the right materials, equipment and people are there to get the job done. Most importantly, you'll take action to ensure the safety, health and well-being of your team and our planet. - Bachelor's Degree in a Construction or Engineering discipline
- Minimum 3 years professional experience working on construction projects
- Experience working in occupied buildings, with an understanding of the process and coordination of various entities in the industry
- Experience with computer software for productivity on data entry and reporting
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Adobe Acrobat
- Ability to work onsite at the client's location with the project team full time

- Experience working in occupied medical facilities

The base salary range for this position is $75,000 to $95,000. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
