Position Overview: As a Project Engineer with a PE license, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing engineering projects from conception to completion. This position requires a licensed Professional Engineer with proven project management skills, technical expertise, and a commitment to delivering projects that meet the highest standards of quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management:
- Lead and manage engineering projects, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, and timelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
Design and Engineering:
- Provide technical expertise in the design and engineering of projects.
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
PE License Utilization:
- Utilize your Professional Engineer (PE) license to seal and approve engineering documents.
- Ensure that all engineering work is conducted in accordance with applicable regulations.
Client Interaction:
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, addressing project requirements, providing updates, and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Gather and interpret client needs to develop engineering solutions.
Quality Assurance:
- Implement and enforce rigorous quality control processes to maintain the highest standards in engineering deliverables.
- Conduct regular reviews and assessments to identify areas for improvement.
Risk Management:
- Identify and assess project risks, developing mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Monitor and manage changes in project scope.
Collaboration and Leadership:
- Foster a collaborative environment within the project team.
- Provide leadership and guidance to junior engineers and project team members.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering; Master's degree is a plus.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with an active license.
- 10+ years of experience in Project Engineering, with a focus on successful project delivery.
- Strong knowledge of engineering principles, codes, and standards.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
