Project Engineer (Pe)

Position Overview: As a Project Engineer with a PE license, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing engineering projects from conception to completion. This position requires a licensed Professional Engineer with proven project management skills, technical expertise, and a commitment to delivering projects that meet the highest standards of quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Management:

   • Lead and manage engineering projects, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, and timelines.
   • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.

2. Design and Engineering:

   • Provide technical expertise in the design and engineering of projects.
   • Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.

3. PE License Utilization:

   • Utilize your Professional Engineer (PE) license to seal and approve engineering documents.
   • Ensure that all engineering work is conducted in accordance with applicable regulations.

4. Client Interaction:

   • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, addressing project requirements, providing updates, and ensuring client satisfaction.
   • Gather and interpret client needs to develop engineering solutions.

5. Quality Assurance:

   • Implement and enforce rigorous quality control processes to maintain the highest standards in engineering deliverables.
   • Conduct regular reviews and assessments to identify areas for improvement.

6. Risk Management:

   • Identify and assess project risks, developing mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.
   • Monitor and manage changes in project scope.

7. Collaboration and Leadership:

   • Foster a collaborative environment within the project team.
   • Provide leadership and guidance to junior engineers and project team members.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering; Master's degree is a plus.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with an active license.
• 10+ years of experience in Project Engineering, with a focus on successful project delivery.
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles, codes, and standards.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
