Requirements:
• Availability to work at the Client’s site in Torrance, CA (required);
• Design/development engineering experience and BS Degree (6+ years) or Design/development engineering experience and MS Degree (3+ years);
• Experience with closed‑loop control systems, and mechanical hardware designs;
• Experience in the aerospace industry;
• Control Account Manager (CAM) experience (preferred);
• Earned Value Management System (EVMS) experience (preferred);
• Risk and Opportunity management or similar business processes experience (preferred);
• Experience with the development of Integrated Master plan (IMP) / Integrated Master Schedule (IMS);
• MS Degree, preferably in Mechanical, Aeronautical, or Electrical Engineering plus 3 years of design/development engineering experience, or BS Degree plus 6 years of design/development engineering experience, or: Ph.D.;
• This job requires access to US export-controlled information.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
• Lead and direct technical teams to design and develop complex electrohydraulic and electromechanical test equipment systems;
• Contribute to the development of new product requirements through consulting with customers and sales personnel;
• Validate conceptual problem solutions by performing trade studies and analyses
• Be a key contributor to the preparation of successful proposal designs, cost estimates, and technical volume write‑ups
• Operate as a key element in a team of creative, independent individuals
• Represent the company in a manner consistent with its technical reputation
• Create reliable designs through a comprehensive experimental development test program
• Document designs, analyses, and test results with accurate and concise reports
