**Position summary:
**
The Project Engineer will be the primary technical lead for execution of KRTC capital expenditure projects including analytical equipment, polymer processing equipment, and building improvements in collaboration with the TS&D Lab Manager and the Director of TS&D.
The Project Engineer will execute twin-screw compounding trials for the new EVAL EVOH product development with guidance from the Sr. TS&D Specialist.
The Project Engineer will be the project lead in the execution of pilot-scale, high oxygen barrier, multilayer blown film and cast sheet and film coextrusion equipment with guidance from the Senior TS&D Specialist and the Director of TS&D.
The Project Engineer will conduct technical service to select customer base with guidance from the Director of TS&D.

**Minimum Qualifications:
**
Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university and pursuing a bachelor's in Engineering (expected graduation date of May 31st, 2024, or earlier)
Bachelors in engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Polymer)
0-5 years of related project management experience
Must have good analytical, planning and organizational skills.
Knowledge of the basic structural, mechanical, and rheological characteristics of polymers, polymer processing, analytical and physical testing of polymer properties.
R&D and product development experience or good command/understanding of R&D process including new product development.
Outstanding verbal and written communication, presentation, interpersonal, creative thinking, consulting, and analytical skills.
Excellent communication skills
Ability to prioritize work to manage multiple projects to meet deadlines.
Excellent problem-solving/decision-making skills.
Ability to multi-tasks
Candidates must have a valid driver's license.
