Location: This is a remote position though you must be based in North America.
Overview
We’re looking for a new Project Director to join our team and support us in delivering extraordinary insights and consulting for brands and organizations while helping clients make more environmentally and socially positive decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- plan and conduct research that addresses our clients’ challenges,
- identify and articulate the insights that our clients will find valuable and inspirational,
- produce reports and presentations delivered to clients with a high standard in terms of their structure, content, conclusions, and provocations,
- assist in managing external analysts, and
- assist in coordinating and communicating with clients.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- You will have 2-5 years of experience in a cultural research and insights, brand strategy, or creative strategy environment.
- Degree in semiotics, social science, cultural analysis, brand strategy, marketing, arts, design, or related field.
- Experience in semiotic analysis via social sciences or commercial arts alongside the interest to deepen this skill.
- Excellent written and verbal skills, with strength in being erudite, clear, nuanced, and engaging.
- Some experience with client management is important, as is a proven ability to work across multiple teams and projects.
- Intellectually curious, open, and aware of culture and communications, as well as being able to understand deeper connections, meanings, and dynamics within it. Able to shape and articulate an interesting point of view related to this understanding.
- Passionate about understanding culture to inform imaginative and progressive ways forward.
- An agile thinker and problem solver that is able to flex and improvise as well as frame — and reframe — your thinking.
- Comfortable navigating and working within ambiguity and complexity on projects.
- Proactive, with clarity of purpose.
- Excited to collaborate with an integrated, global team.
- Enthusiastic about working across a variety of categories and client challenges.

Anticipated Salary Range & Benefits
For this particular role, the range is $75,000 - $95,000 a year for full time (depending on experience and skill level). Space Doctors provides an excellent benefits package to our team with generous PTO.
