Job Description
Our Global Architecture & Urbanism Division combines the expertise of IBI's Buildings and Placemaking practice, our Places' capabilities, and CRTKL's multi-sector design leadership to offer a diverse range of solutions focusing on human-centric design, sustainability, and technology.
Arcadis' newly formed Architecture and Urbanism division is looking to add a Project Designer to join the growing Transit Studio in Boca Raton. In the position of Project Designer you will play a key role assisting our project teams with specific production and design needs. This position must be physically located in Broward/Palm Beach County, FL near the Copans Road Project (Pompano Beach) and Boca Raton office.

Role Responsibilities:
- Work with Project Manager in design, consultant, and project coordination.
- Work with BIM Manager to participate in clash detection sessions.
- Provide design and CD production support to Project Architects and Interior Designers.
- Produce BIM models and drawings based on office standards and procedures.
- Prepare construction documentation, to include plans, sections, elevations, details, and schedules.
- Work with project team to execute projects on time and on budget.
- Review design layouts to find and resolve problems involving compatibility with basic design concepts
- Compile drawings into a plan set, organize and manage the sheet index throughout all phases of the project
- Participate in design reviews to evaluate design concepts and make corrections to drawings as requested by Project Managers.
Qualifications
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture
- Detailed and task-oriented self-starter who can follow through on initiatives
- In-depth knowledge of Autodesk Revit, with a minimum of 5-10 years' experience using Revit on design/construction projects
- General knowledge of Autodesk Cloud (formerly BIM360)
- Experience working in an architectural production environment
- Good Communication Skills
- Works well in a Team Environment
- Thorough attention to detail
