Work you'll do/Responsibilities
- Partner with functional teams to review functional specifications and produce technical design specifications
- Provide level of effort estimates based on functional specifications or business requirements
- Design, code, unit test, debug and implement SAP ABAP applications while working closely with functional teams
- Resolve open development issues and make decisions about alternate technical approaches
- Proactively provide work status
- Follow development standards and methodology
- Ensure that documentation is properly maintained
- Support the change control process
- Conduct code reviews with peers
- Support application upgrades
- Work Defects
- Develop test plans for new or modified programs
- Test, debug, implement, and document fixes
- Perform issue resolution and root cause analysis
- Provide advanced problem solving and technical support, including on-call critical support

We deliver continuous modernization, upgrades, and address incremental business changes as part of our engagements through our 5 key offerings: SAP Operations, Oracle Operations, IT Operations, Supply Chain Operations, Finance Operations.
Qualifications
Required
- S/4 HANA Development experience.
- 6+ Years of experience as an SAP ABAP Developer with a strong understanding of SAP modules and architecture.
- 6+ Years of in ABAP programming language, SAP development tools, and debugging techniques.
- Knowledge of SAP Fiori and UI5 development.
- Solid knowledge of SAP integration technologies, including IDOCs, RFC, and BAPIs.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Limited sponsorship may be available
- College Degree or Equivalent
- Role is remote
Preferred
- SAP ABAP certification.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA.
- Exposure to SAP Cloud Platform and SAP BW.
- Familiarity with SAP security principles and authorization concepts.
- Ability to effectively interface with technical and nontechnical staff at all organizational levels
- Excellent verbal, written, communication, presentation and negotiations skills
- Strong customer service approach
- Ability to collaborate and work well with others
- Ability to engage vendor support on technical and functional issues
- Ability to escalate issues properly and in a timely fashion
- Demonstrated soft skills required for the presentation of ideas and concepts to stakeholders such as vendors, end users and senior management.
