Work you'll do/Responsibilities  

Responsible for designing and maintaining high performance large scale distributed systems.  Provide guidance on IBM WatsonX.   Proven expertise in financial reporting and regulatory compliance.  Understands technology fundamentals, including architectures, data modeling, and application development lifecycle. Translates business needs into associated technical requirements and understands solutions that will incorporate these requirements.  May independently own a work stream, reviewing, and potentially directing the work of more junior staff.  Develops solutions to client problems through application of methods and tools; validates solutions to subject matter experts. Demonstrates accountability and contributions to the successful realization of client goals. Identifies and solves problems using analysis, experience, and decision making.

  • Communicate regularly with Engagement Managers (Directors), project team members, and representatives from various functional and / or technical teams, including escalating any matters that require additional attention and consideration from engagement management
  • Independently and collaboratively lead client engagement workstreams focused on improvement, optimization, and transformation of processes including implementing leading practice workflows, addressing deficits in quality, and driving operational outcomes

Our operate services within CTO include:

  • Foundry Services: Operate services providing flexible, recurring resource capacity for client initiatives, projects, tasks, and enhancement
  • Managed Services: Operate services that provide ongoing maintenance, monitoring, and optimization for IT/Engineering applications & products
Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience 
  • 4+ years with IBM WatsonX, IBM Discovery and IBM explorer
  • Experienced developing search engines or search platforms
  • Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available

Preferred

  • Prior experience working in telecommunication industry
  • Analytical/ Decision Making Responsibilities
  • Analytical ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks into manageable work products
  • Can operate independently or with minimum supervision
  • Excellent Written and Communication Skills
  • Ability to deliver technical demonstrations
