Form of work Our client is seeking an Infrastructure Analyst Project Controls Specialist in Washington, D.C.
DUTIES:Cost Analysis: Ability to analyze and report on project costs, with insights for improving project and financial performance.
Forecasting: Skill in creating accurate forecasts to evaluate project performance against budgets and schedules.
Financial Management: Knowledge in managing project finances, including budgeting, accruals, and forecasting
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical ability to improve project efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Communication: Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and collaboration with various stakeholders. Including Capital Delivery Finance
Software Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Project Managment tools (i.e. MS Project, P6, MasterWorks)
Detail-Oriented: Meticulous attention to detail in financial analysis and project reporting.
Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate across departments
REQUIRMENTS:2+ years of related professional experience
Past work with multiple contract types (Time & Materials, Cost Plus Fixed Fee, Firm Fixed Price)
Tracking and managing ceiling and funding at all levels for teammates
Reviewing and approving spend plans and invoices for accuracy and ensuring information is booked into the system accordingly
Calculating and providing funding amounts for subcontractor teammates
Reviewing invoices for accuracy and coordinating corrections prior to submission for payment
Tracking bill holds and accruals to closure across billing cycles
