Responsible for implementation, training, oversight and conducting Project Controls related practices for multiple projects across Wanzek's operational groups.
Responsibilities:- Compiling job cost and/or planning reports for multiple projects
- Assist with preparation of project progress billings
- May require some travel to project sites
- Update change management, forecast and progress updates in Viewpoint
- Support project management with project reporting requirements
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Construction Engineering or related field OR equivalent combination of education and experience
- 0-2 years of related experience in Project Controls or cost scheduling and planning
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
- Take reasonable care of your own and others’ health and safety and of those who may be affected by the day-to-day delivery of this role by taking personal responsibility for working toward Wanzek’s Zero Injury principles
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Organizational skills and ability to manage simultaneous tasks/assignments
- Exceptional team building skills and ability to collaborate with groups throughout the company
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to comprehend complex assignments
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
