Overview and Essential Functions

Summary of Position:
A successful Project Controls Manager shall apply project management tools and techniques to clearly define the project goals, develop an execution plan to meet those goals, and meet the milestones and end date of assigned projects. As well as; ensuring the accuracy, completeness, safety, and profitability of assigned projects; allocating Company equipment and personnel as needed to ensure daily and weekly production goals are accomplished on time, within budget, and according to safety guidelines; reviewing daily and weekly production reports to ensure reasonableness and accuracy as well as reporting information to the customer and Company management on a weekly or as needed basis. Project Management experience (PMP or CAPM) with Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project applications experience highly preferred. 5+ years of project management experience required.
Essential Functions:

• the ability to communicate with Company personnel, customers, and contractors to ensure tasks are completed.
Responsibilities:
• Manage processes effectively and apply expertise to ensure completion of work assignments.
• Participate in the implementation and maintenance of processes or procedures.
• Communicate with employees, contractors, vendors, and/or customers to assist assigned department/project.
• Read, interpret, input, and analyze data in support of an assigned department/project.
• Additional Duties as assigned.


Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field or 4 years of related work experience.
• Proficient in the use of office hardware and software. (PCs, Tablets, Printers, Copiers, Microsoft, Google, etc.)
• Advanced proficiency in assigned function, example; (Accounting, Engineering, IT, Procurement, Project Mgmt, etc.)
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen, background, and motor vehicle record check.
Workplace Environment and Physical Demands:
To be considered for this position, a candidate must possess the ability to sit for long periods of time, while using repetitive and/or fine hand movements to complete computer related tasks and/or other office functions. Work is performed indoors and in a typical office environment.
