GMC is looking to expand our studio in Charleston, SC. We are seeking a Project Architect to contribute to our team’s continued success. We foster an environment built around personal growth and development. We also shape our office around the talented people that we hire. This creates a place where individuals can grow at the rate they are capable of growing, with the support of the team around them. We are a growing firm with opportunities for advancement and increased responsibility for those who seek upward movement and who excel. As a Project Architect, you will manage some projects independently, while working under a Project Manager on larger projects, but serving in a lead role with a high level of autonomy. • Must be a self-starter, team player, and able to establish good working relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, team members, and other employees
  • Strong presentation / public speaking skills
  • Ability to balance multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Ability to adapt with changing business needs

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

Local job site travel as needed per project. Our projects are generally located within a 3-hour drive of the office. Overnight trips are uncommon.
