The Center for Transformational Play (CTP) at the Human-Computer Interaction Institute within the School of Computer Science is searching for a Programmer to be responsible for producing a testable digital prototype for a SEL (social-emotional learning) assessment tool for 9-11-year-olds. This includes include, but is not limited to, writing code, debugging, designing, and testing computer structures, troubleshooting system errors, analyzing data, writing computer instructions, and managing database systems.
Your core responsibilities will include:

• Assess project needs.
• Design software solutions
• Write and update source code.
• Test and debug software
• Collect feedback from the team and make adjustments.
• Document code to current industry standards.
• Package final program for deployment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree
• 1-2 years of programming experience. Must have at least some game-related experience.
• Experience on client-facing projects.
