Program Support Specialist

• Provide Program Support for the Traffic Coordination System for Space (TraCSS ) to update SmartSheets, help define, track, and manage schedules, risk items, and open program actions.
• Serve as the lead for program documentation configuration control.
• Work with the graphics team to ensure slides are prepared, configuration-controlled, and up to date. Helps to track deliverables and devise, manage, and maintain a filing, storage, and documentation system for the TraCSS program documentation.
• Coordinate, schedule, and facilitate regular and annual customer meetings.
• Generate meeting minutes for the Research to Operations (R2O) Team as a deliverable to the customer.
• Provide weekly emails highlighting major activities of the week, to include details on customer deliverables, meetings, and any planned activities discussed with the Government customer.

• B.S. degree in a technical field, e.g., engineering, computer science
• 8-10 years of experience in programmatic support.
• Experience with project analysis and/or management
• Ability to work independently and as a team
• Experience with Smartsheet, configuration/documentation management
• Prior NOAA, NASA, or DOC experience is a plus
• Demonstrates writing and oral communication skills and demonstrates proven skills in programmatic areas addressed by the delivery order to be managed.
• Organizes, directs, and coordinates the planning and production of all activities associated with assigned delivery order projects.
• Current or previous background investigation preferred.
• U.S. citizenship or Permanent Resident (Green Card holder) is required.
• Selected applicants will be subject to a government background investigation.

• Able to work collaboratively with leadership and provide technical expertise for managing, developing, and maintaining business documentation (e.g., Annual Operating Plan, Integrated Product List, Product Summaries, Labor Summary), providing input into Federal strategic and management reports and aligning Division activities.
• The candidate should be able to provide Program Management expertise, including advice, analyses, and assistance for the improvement of internal technical, business, and organizational processes, such as for strategic planning and execution, performance metrics, feedback mechanisms, and reporting processes.
• Must have demonstrated experience working with senior-level executives and possess effective oral and written communication skills.
• Experience with Google Suite products/tools.
• Experience with Smartsheet Cloud Applications
• Team player and strong communication skills in a scientific/technical environment
