Program Specialist 1, Data Management & Compliance

Dauphin County Social Services for Children & Youth is currently accepting applications for the full-time, day shift position of Program Specialist 1, Data Management & Compliance. The Program Specialist 1 (Data Management & Compliance) oversees the procurement and maintenance of the various data systems required as part of essential operations. The individual in this role manages the fulfillment of Agency reporting obligations including, but not limited to, Caseworker Visitation, Family Finding, Children in Community Based Placement Education report. This position is responsible for the AFCARS, PPI, and CY28 submissions; Information Technology Grant and related leases, contracts and equipment needs; tracking of user accounts & access review as needed. including but not limited to the Agency's Child Welfare Case Management System, CAPS. This position is responsible for overseeing the successful implementation of requests for system enhancements, system integration & the maintenance of software applications to support efficient operations and compliance with reporting under State, Federal and County requirements. Under the supervision of the Program Specialist 2, Contract Manager, this position oversees the fulfillment of the Agency's reporting obligations, assumes a lead role in the development and monitoring of the Agency's provider agreements with Information Technology consultants & vendors and will participate in development and monitoring of provider contracts with organizations serving the Children & Youth Agency and Juvenile Probation Services Office.

Work is performed under supervision of the Program Specialist 2, Contract Manager, under the direction of the Director of Fiscal Operations. The Program Specialist (Data Systems & Compliance) must plan, organize and carry out assignments in a very independent manner. Special projects are assigned frequently and on an as needed basis. Work is reviewed through regular consultation, conferences, reports and results achieved.

Two years of professional level experience in the field of children, youth and families; and a bachelor's degree.
